Our Company




History

Our company was established in 1976 and our first HRSG project was in 1990 when, in conjunction with a key OEM and the owner, we helped develop and perform the upgrade of three feed water panels. Today we can look back on having been involved with projects from the outlet of the GT through and to the stack where we have performed numerous stack isolation dampers. Our years of experience in the repair of boilers has proven beneficial to our present customers as we are able to apply knowledge developed from past boiler repairs and apply it to the need at hand.

We have been a CODE shop since 1988. Presently we hold the NBIC “R” and the ASME “S” and “U” stamps. As required, these stamps stipulate that the proper quality assurance program must be in place and adhered to at all times. Our quality assurance manual outlines the procedures we must follow including material procurement, fabrication and inspection.

Bremco developed a means to manage and control outages beginning in the very early stages of planning by providing our customers with scopes, budgets, and schedules. Good planning has and always will be the only way to truly control costs. Our method of line item budgeting has proven very helpful during the actual outage as it gives us the ability to make decisions knowing how the project will be affected financially, as well as the schedule. We have a proven track record of performing projects on time and budget.

Planning

To quote Steven Covey – “Start with the end in mind,” – we know what outages are all about. After being involved primarily as an outage contractor since 1976, we always work towards a primary plan “A” with a contingency plan “B” as well – things change. The primary reasons for a plan are:

1) Work in a safe manner
2) Perform the work on budget – on schedule
3) Accomplish the work achieving goals set during planning
